USF Series Announces The Game, March 19-21, 2010
The USF Series is proud to announce the fourth and final weekend of tournament play. The Game Tournament will feature BIG EAST host USF Bulls against Northern Illinois, Oklahoma State, Dartmouth and in state rivals FAMU and Florida State.
Participating teams include:
- Florida State, Ranked #16 in the nation with a 44-16 record
- FAMU, 09 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Softball finals participant
- Oklahoma State, 4th place in the Big 12 last season
- Ohio State, 2009 NCAA Super Region participant
- Dartmouth, Conference runner up 2009
- Syracuse, BIG EAST member, 30-21 record last season
- University of Maryland, ACC member
- Towson State, Also from Maryland, 34-22 record last season
- Northern Illinois, MAC member
- Texas Tech, Big 12 member
- University of Illinois, Big 10 member, 29-17 record last year
- University of North Florida, 1-of-4 Florida teams in the tournament
Led by USA National Team coach Ken Eriksen, the 2010 USF Bulls feature some of the region’s top players with both Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties well represented.
